She sits in quiet splendor, a smile upon her face
The beauty of a woman, with loveliness and grace
She dreams with eyes wide open, her thoughts soft as a breeze
She dreams of love and happiness and a life of inner peace
The fragrance of the evening awakens senses half asleep
She thinks about the many nights that she would lay and weep
Tranquility was out of reach, her heart was sore and tired
And then she handed all her worries to God to think about
Her heart is soaring like the wind, she holds her passion silent
Deep within her breast, grows serenity so quiet
Memories hidden out of view, that no one else can see
She thinks about her life and all that she can be
